Moore Stephens Hong Kong, an independent member firm of Moore Stephens International Limited, is now in its 34th year in Hong Kong, having been established back in 1975. Its early clients were principally maritime in nature, a reflection of the international firm𠏋 long relationship with the shipping industry. The firm still has considerable shipping expertise and acts for a number of substantial shipowners, ship operators and those providing related services, but the client base has grown and expanded over the years to encompass most kinds of business operation.
Clients include listed and unlisted groups, as well as large, medium and small companies, covering a wide variety of businesses including shipping, insurance, electronics manufacturing and distribution, property development, textiles, clothing, solicitors, financial services, professional organisations - in fact, most of the sectors of industry and finance found in a major financial centre.
The firm has participated in several listing and re-listing exercises and has several listed company clients.
Moore Stephens Hong Kong provides audit, accounting, corporate finance, listing, and other business advisory services. As an independent member firm in Moore Stephens International Limited, it is experienced in international operations, whether as central co-ordinator for locally based groups or in meeting overseas deadlines for clients forming part of overseas groups.
Moore Stephens Associates Limited provides tax compliance and consulting, accounting/outsourcing, comany secretarial and trust as well as computer consultancy services. Since 1992, Moore Stephens Hong Kong has been very active in developing the Moore Stephens accounting and consulting network in China. Member/correspondent firms have been established, in Beijing, Fuzhou, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chongqing. Moore Stephens China Services was set up in early 2005 to provide full auditing and consultancy services in China, using both the long established Moore Stephens Hong Kong firm and recently established teams based in China. The first team was strategically located in the busiest commercial city in China, Shanghai, effective July 2005 and a further team was established in China𠏋 capital, Beijing in early 2006. Moore Stephens Advisory Limited was established in Shanghai in 2007.
